Nvidia for GT 650M and USB controller drivers.

    Hey people !

    I'm having a last issue after installing Win7 x64 after uninstalling Win8.
Let me give you the specs of this notebook so you know a bit more about my machine.
Bought from Medion (German), Akoya P6815 (899euros)
    It's running on a i7-3630 QM, 4/8
Nvidia GeForce GT 650M (also Intel has a discrete GPU running before it switches to the Nvidia card when it needs more performance)

After installing Win7 my tech friend had to install a few drivers in order to be ok with everything. But i have an issue with two of them. First the Nvidia, the friend of mine tried installing the latest driver needed but told me I needed to redownload it from the manufacturer or the Nvidia site so I could have the panel control (to set it up). Which I did of course. I tried installing it at home after downloading it from Nvidia, but it told me that it needs an Intel driver first ... I thought of the driver for the discrete Intel GPU (which is used unless the Nvidia is needed to increase performances automatically). So I went the manufacturer’s site and downloaded the driver provided for my notebook. I activated the setup, it said it was done and tested, nothing else (all in a second), I by then tried to run the Nvidia driver installer but it told me the same. So i tried finding the Nvidia driver which is also provided for my notebook on the Medion’s site. I run it, it tells me it’s installed and tested. All right. I check in the device manager (to Display Adapter > Standart VGA graphic adapter) and it says the driver won’t start (code 10) ... I restarted just in case but nothing changed.
Apart from this driver there’s another one I can’t seem to find. Unfortunatly I can’t get any help from my friend now as I had to move right after seeing him ... in another country (had a flight to catch). I have this “Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller” saying that the driver isn’t installed. Yes my friend told me about it before I had to leave but I can’t remember the simple solution he told me about (stupid isn’t it ?) ... So I tried using the USB 3.0 driver from the manufacturer’s site but once again nothing changed, even after rebooting.

So ... in other words I’m looking for anyone who could help me get these drivers correctly updated ?

So, I succeeded with the Nvidia and Intel drivers, thank you for (no) help but now I have of them which are still not working properly.
    In DEVICE MANAGER :

    • Network Adapters > Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. This one isn't working properly

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
    • Other Devices > Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller. I believe it's for the USB3.0 port as it does definitly not transfer at a USB 3.0 speed (20Mb/s Maximum ...). No drivers installed for this one yet ... Can't find one online !

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
I tried running the Support disk provided with the Notebook (which originally was Win8, not Win7 Ultimate x64) to repair the REALTEK Driver. But it can't repair it, some files are missing I guess as it told me it can't find FileFind or something during the repair or installation process (I also tried completely uninstalling the previous drivers and reinstalling, it also says this file is missing). I then found all the drivers files online for the exact same version, but I don't know how to manually install the driver after uninstalling it! Im very used to automatic set ups ... any tips how I could get it done ??

so ... I launched AIDA64, for the Realtek (ethernet) device it shows this information under Network > PCI/PnP :

Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (PHY: Realtek RTL8211/8212
while for the USB device ... well I'm not too sure where to look ! I tried in Devices and in USB, but it didn't really help me out either !
I also tried simply clicking on the "Update This Driver" in the task bar ... but it redirected me onto DriverAgent's site which I don't really trust (not mentioning it's not free at all !)

So ... In the end is there ANYONE to help me on this SEVENFORUMS ? Or I (again) have to wait until I can meet my tech friend ?? Cause I mean ... you know ... I know how much people on such forums are willing to help ... But I thought my problem with these drivers were once again a newbie problem that any experienced user could fix, so having no answer after a few days is kind of surprising !!
