Geforce GT 220 is compatible with DirectX 10 but installs DirectX 11??

    I didn't say that to be mad or anything. I was just pointing it out. I've been looking around for this info for a bit. I thought that if I tried running games in DirectX 11, it would cause problems since my GPU is only compatible with DirectX 10.

    Number 6 here,

    Tips on Troubleshooting Game Issues

    explains it very well. Basically there are three conditions for a game to run in DirectX 11 mode, and you are missing one of them (at least).
