    Syba SD-ata133r ide controller PCI


    I cant seem to get this running in WIN 7 pro...

    it shows device driver failed...have tried online and manually choosing drivers.

    Ive tried these to no avail

    Did you try the Vista drivers in compatibility mode? click on the .exe file>properties> check the box run in compatibility mode, Vista. Install the drivers.

    BUT....how can I locate the *.exe??
    all I have is the ICON to right click on it on the DEVICE mgr window.

    if you are referring to the install files > there is no *.exe file.
    only sys/inf files.

    thanks for trying

    btw...the link I provided on my OP...some users have claimed to have the driver working under WIN 7...I just thought there would be some "technique"

    On the setup.exe file you are trying to install right click on it go to properties> click it then check the box run in compatibility mode choose either Vista or XP.
