Can't install new usb hardware (Logitech F310 Gamepad)
Hey guys,
This is my first post here and I am really frustrated. I had to create an account here because no other answer has helped me.
So recently my Wired Afterglow Xbox 360 Controller stopped working on my computer. I went into the device manager and have troubleshooted it millions of times. The troubleshooter says that it can't find a solution. So I assume that it's the drivers because when I had a similar problem where the 4 lights on the controller were blinking, and all I had to do was trouble shoot it to reinstall the drivers. But that wasn't working at that moment. So I thought that the controller didn't work anymore and went out and bought a Logitech F310 Gamepad. (I really wanted to play my game)
Well I have the same problem once again -_-
When I plug in the gamepad, something strange happens. I hear the sound that indicates a USB device has been plugged in, but I didn't see the "Installing New Device Software" notification that you get from your taskbar when you plug in a new device. In the device manager, the gamepad is shown in the other devices section.

So I tried to troubleshoot it. but this happened: a5ff5c892ee61909f116dc4baf5244bd.png
Once again, I thought this was a driver problem, so I went to update the driver, and chose the option to search for the driver online. They recommended an xbox 360 wired controller as the driver, but it says that the installer has failed. So I downloaded the xbox 360 wired controller and tried to install it manually, this was the result: a0641a92c9b2db64c186b2b20f4c1240.png
So please could anyone help me fix this problem? I would really like to play my game.
