    QuickCam won't download/Unique Problem

Greetings friends. When I first got my computer it had Vista as the O/S. At that time, Windows 7 was not on the market, but very close and because of that, I was promised a free upgrade to 7 after it came out. That happened. One of the first things I downloaded on the Vista was Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 and after the upgrade to Windows 7, it remained on my computer and operated without any problems. Recently, my computer malfunctioned and it was necessary to re-install Windows 7 and of course everything was "cleaned". Now I am trying to download the QuickCam and it won't go. Apparently it's a compatibility issue and it won't finish installing. It does get to the point of downloading SP-1 and it stalls. How come it stayed after being upgraded to Windows 7 but after a re-installation to Windows 7, it won't download.

    Hello Zuko,

If you mean for the QuickCam Pro 4000 drivers, then you can get the latest version at the Logitech link below. It shows it only supports up to Vista, and Windows 7 is not supported. If the driver will not install normally, then you might see if installing it using compatibility mode may allow it to.
    Hope this helps, :)
