ricoh networked printer drivers not available for win 7 pro - help

    no worries maxie... appreciate the help.

    i'm getting exactly the same issue from the Ricoh site downloads so might have to give support a call to find out what the issue is.

    Its strange that is shows as an Exe file download ..... Has to be one some where

    yep. it downloads as an .exe and extracts the data but no .exe file in the download extraction.

    i'm going to call Ricoh tomorrow and have a chat with them.

    No worries .... Yes give them a call and say to them that you have been pleased with the Printer up to now ..... And you might consider purchasing it once the Lease is up ..... If that is an option ... That way you might find they will be more helpful .... If not you can always state that you wont be renewing the Lease .

    problem resolved.

    installed the printer using local and TCP/IP option. added I.P address of the printer and then selected have disk option installing the drivers on the printer.

    If your installing a printer on a home network then an .exe file will be present but if you are installing on a network or LAN using I.P addresses then this is not the case.
