Ok Max this is what I found Acer | Aspire E | E1-571G-33114G50Mn | Datasheet and where I started to get a bit lost:) But I suppose it is the Aussie site after all.

Hi OrganisedMess,

Thanks for posting the details of the device manager. There seems to be some drivers not installed on the system.

Please install the drivers for your system from the link below:

Acer | Download

Select the option Search by Serial Number or SNID and then enter your serial number as NXM09EK0012331874C1601. It will locate your model number as Aspire E1-571 and you would be able to download the drivers for your system.

You can download the video driver from the link below:

http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...C=ACER&SC=PA_6

Remember, most of the serial numbers doesn't have O as an alphabet it should be treated as 0 numeric.

Hope you should be able to install all the drivers and it resolves the issue. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.

Also there are what seems to be dead pixels on my screen but I can mouse over them and they disappear. Help would be appreciated.

Hi kandypenny44,

It would be better if you start a new thread with more details about the issue you have with the system. Also provide us with the crash details and system details.

If you are requesting help with a BSOD crash, then please try to provide the info outlined here:
