My graphics driver consistantly crashes

I have owned this laptop for roughly 6 months now however recently my Laptop screen keeps crashing, refreshing and then displaying the message 'The graphics driver has stopped responding and has recovered'. I currently have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card. The crashes occur mostly when I play video games, watch videos and move this to fast. Also there are what seems to be dead pixels on my screen but I can mouse over them and they disappear. Help would be appreciated.

Hi OrganisedMess,

Welcome to Seven forums.

Kindly remove the video drivers from the system and then re-install from this link:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...+4000&lang=eng

Please try the same and let us know the results.

Hi OrganisedMess,

Thanks for your reply. You might not be downloading the correct drivers for your system. Please let us know the model number of the system.

Also, post a screenshot of the device manager so we can check the same:

Hi there .... I am not sure what that Number represents its not your Model Number or Serial Number .... There might be a sticker underneath the Laptop with the Model Number ... If not go to the Link below ... Select Search by Serial Number or SNID .. And then Auto-detect my Serial Number ... Then please copy and paste the Link back to me
