Sorry for the double post, but I think I might've actually downloaded the wrong drivers, haha.
I just noticed a Nvidia VGA driver on that page and my monitor is VGA. Maybe that's the solution to my problems?
Hi Dan Yes I just found that on another web page .... Download the Vga Driver .. If your Usb ports are not working let me know .. The SMbus controller Driver might be needed ...
Thanks, Maxie. My USB ports seem to be working great.
Will I still need to install the chipset drivers as well as the VGA drivers? Or will the VGA drivers be good to go on their own?
You are welcome Dan ... The VGA driver should sort your problem ... The chipset Driver may not be needed Its for USB ports and data processing .. Let me know how things go and we shall take it from there
Brilliant, thanks.
I currently have it downloading but it's taking it's time! Will report back as soon as I'm done.
One more question, is there a way to boot from integrated graphics in the BIOS instead of having to take out my card everytime?
Hi Dan there might well be you would have to check in your Bios ... Also you gave me the wrong Link again it takes me to the website ... Where I have to enter the Model Number lol
Yeah I gave that link because there is no direct link to the driver page. I posted all the information needed to get to my PC model in the same post :)
Haha, we all have them!
Just hit another snag. I just went to install that VGA driver where I was prompted with this message:
"The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit"
I'm thinking I need to be in safe mode to do this
