    Unknown Device (Game Controller)


    Hi guys, I have a big problem....
    I have a game controller Dialog 13-VR ( DIALOG company, ltd. )
    and when I connect it to usb port it apears like this >

    When I go to Device Manager it apears like this >

    And when I try to install the driver it shows me this >

    What to do ? Any ideas ?

    Use 7 driver if you can find one. If not, install the Vista driver in compatibility mode for Vista. Compatibility mode may cause it to install correct and recognize the device. Good luck.

    If still no go, install by right clicking on that unknown device and choose update driver software. Browse my computer, let me pick, have disk, browse. Now find the .inf to the driver. Extract driver contents from rar or zip file beforehand if need be. Or if install file is .exe, let it extract to temporary folder first by running it. Then install with device manager as I said.

    Your drivers for your device is for a XP witch cannot work on 7.
    You should contact the manufacturer for info abt drivers for Vista/7
    Or you could try running it in compatibility mode(not recommended!)

    Neat Trick: go to unknown device. right click>properties>details>pull down bar that says device description until you see hardware ID. take the numeric string that starts with VEN (for vendor) and put it in google. it will take you to the vendor for that device.

    The driver is for Windows 7 . I allready contact the manufacturer...

    he know's exactly what his device is, but the problem is that there are no drivers for it newer than XP.

    Got it so use the vista drivers until win 7 comes out, Just install in compatibility mode

    There is no driver for system newer than XP, sorry typo, edited post

    To install driver I need to reconize the device... !? how to do it ? The device have Error code 43 too...
