Downloading Driver Updates from Toshiba

    Sorry to show my ignorance but do not know what you mean or how to do it,unless you mean the full name of what the driver is for.

    Hi there I am trying to find the Drivers for your Laptop But when i go to the Toshiba website it asks me for a Model Number which starts with PSC some thing do you know what the other three letters are ? Then I can check to see what dates are on the Drivers

    MY mistake,sorry.The model is a Satellite Pro C870-1E2 and the pt.no. is PSCBBE-00J018EN.The item in question is Realtek RTL8723AE wireless Lan 802.11n PC1-E NIC.the driver at present installed is version 2002.5.712.2012 and dated 12/7/2012.The driver I try to install and which goes to programs and features is version 2.00.0020 and dated 8/5/2013.

    Go to Program and Features and double click on it . That should Install the Driver

    Just been there and it is asking me if I want to uninstall the application even though I double clicked it.

    I know just tried it on mine to be on the safe side .. It should Re install again ... If you are not having any problems with that Driver .. I ask why are you Updating it ?

    Because Tempro says it will improve performance so what should I do,double click and hope for the best or what?.

    Tempro another piece of Toshibas software .. Personally i never Update Drivers unless i am having problems . They very rarely improve Performance .. I have seen some Updates which causes problems so if i where you i would leave it alone . If it aint broke sure dont need fixing
