    Custom Driver Request - Win7 - HP Pavilion 15-b153nr

I don't know if it will happen, but I'm hoping (fingers and toes crossed). I purchased a new laptop and unfortunately, it's running Win8 (ugh!). I've been trying to deal with 8, but there are SO many things that tick me off about it that I want to downgrade it to 7. I have the license key to do so, so it will be a legitimate downgrade, but I can't find drivers for Windows 7. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I've included some of the system specs below. If you want/can help and want/need any further information, let me know, I'm pretty savvy with a computer and I can get it for you.

The biggest difficulty I think will be the drivers for the touchscreen, which isn't a necessity. If I can run Win7 and not have the touchscreen, I'll still do it. I just want to get off Win8.

Hi there ... Welcome to Seven Forums .. I had a Look at the Drivers for your Model On the HP website .. I did not see a Driver for the Touchscreen ... Windows should be able to get you most of the Drivers you need .. Any that are missing you should be able to use the Windows 8 Drivers .. You would need the Quick Launch Software for your Function keys . Before you start to do any thing I would make Recovery Discs .. If you need help with the Installation you can always make a post in that section . Where are Installation Experts would be able to guide you step by step

    I appreciate the quick response.

I've already created backup disks. That was the first thing I did. I'm going to try installing Win7 now and see how it goes.

Wait, when i reinstalled my Win 8 Lappy, It didn't have NEITHER wireless or Ethernet connection. The first thing i would do is back up your wireless driver :)

Hmm the other option is to change the 8 to a 7 style start up menu. I have upgraded my main laptop and Sandy bridge and apart from a few minor changes one would never know you were not in 7.:)
