    Free Space Error SSD

My SSD reports two different free space amounts.
    In C Drive / Properties I have 107GB free
Yet in Disk Management it reports only 9GB free

I want to create a Over Provisioning Partition, and my Samsung Dashboard says there's mot enough space. It appears that the Samsung software reports what Disk Management sees.

How do I free up the space I need?
Remember, this is a SSD, so I think Defrag / Claim Free Space is out....

    Thanks!

Maybe you have misread the information under Windows Explorer

    Hi BillS22,

It sounds like you may be misreading the information provided. If you look at a drive in Windows Explorer it usually says "x free of y gigabytes",

Perhaps you have "10 GB free of 107 GB" or something similar in Explorer, and Disk Management is correctly showing 9 Gigs (or thereabout).

    Kind Regards,

    David

P.S. As stated by pbcopter please post a couple of screen shots.
