    Samsung ML-1660 Drivers


    Good day to all.I'm running windows 7 home premium and have a samsung ML-1660 printer installed,Over the last few weeks its been a pain in the rear I have uninstalled it and re installed the software but it shows two printers.
    1.Samsung ML-1660 series
    2.Samsung Universal print driver 2 ?????
    Can someone please tell me what is that second one the universal driver doing there.
    Help Please.

    No luck.
    Could it be possible as this printer is shared with a wireless laptop???

    Hi thanks for reply.Regarding the universal printer its causing a problem with the CD software installation.
    What I'm trying to do is get rid of the universal driver but failing to do so.
    When I do try and un install it from start all programs and select the un install and select the universal driver then click next a box comes up and failed to un install it.
