TSST TS-L632D Win7 32 bit device driver (for Toshiba Satellite A200)

Hi everyone, and my apologies if a similar msg was posted before.
My friend has a Toshiba Satellite A200-AH3, 1GB ram, TSST TS-L632D slim 8x DVD+/-RW drive.
I want to change it from Windows xp to Win7.
I went to this page for drivers:
    Satellite A200-ST2041 Support | Toshiba
I have downloaded quite a few, but I must say I am a bit confused in the large list available:
    10,126,824 app_disc_creator_TC00091300G.exe
    22,389,376 app_speech_system_TC00126300G.exe
    72,927,216 driver_audio_realtek_TC50039800C.exe
    72,927,008 driver_audio_realtek_TC50040300C.exe
    78,919,808 driver_bluetooth_TC00241200A.exe
    4,743,696 driver_chipset_intel_TC50034100E.exe
    6,276,352 driver_fingerprint_upek_TC00251000B.exe
    9,284,696 driver_infrared_winbond_TC50002500C.exe
    24,568,400 driver_intel_matrix_TC50033900B.exe
    35,148,456 driver_intel_robson_TC50034200E.exe
    3,470,888 driver_modem_toshiba_TC00221400D.exe
    2,438,320 driver_trs_TC00202900A.exe
    26,616,816 driver_video_intel_TC50035100D.exe
    22,880,616 driver_wifi_atheros_TC00190600E.exe
    2,221,136 patch_device_printer_registry_TC00231900B.exe
    90,406 PSAFCU-PSAF0U-Win7UpgradeInstructions.pdf
    5,843,880 sa200f0v520.exe
    33,416,793 tsi4win7.exe
    43,083,552 util_configfree_TC00163700Q.exe
    6,614,264 util_hdmi_control_TC00243900A.exe
    9,284,272 util_hwsetup_TC50038900D.exe
    6,774,400 util_security_assist_TC30070900B.exe
    9,810,040 util_su_pass_TC50038800C.exe
    44,730,792 util_tvap_TC00214700F.exe
    45,795,560 util_tvap_TC00214700M.exe

I have run a number of executables to create only the driver directories and copied these to a usb key.
However, when I start installing Windows 7 I immediately get the message: “A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing”. On a Dell site I found only firmware upgrades, no drivers.
I have been unable to find the Windows 7 driver for the TSST TS-L632D.

So my problem boils down to 2 questions:
    1. Where to find the TSST TS-L632D device driver for windows 7;
    2. What is the correct install order for all the drivers specified (chipset, display, lan, wan..?)
    Thanks in advance,

    jmpaq

    Hi jmpaq,

    Welcome to Seven forums.

This might be happening if you are not installing windows properly on the system. Please perform a clean install on the system by booting from the Windows 7 disc or USB. Check this tutorial below which would be helpful in resolving this issue:

    Clean Install Windows 7

Once done then you can install the drivers that are required. Most of the drivers are loaded by Windows 7 native drivers itself. If you wish to update then check this link below on how you can find the appropriate drivers for your system devices:

    thanks SandeepP
I am trying to install an iso from usb.

Do you mean I have to wipe out the partition before trying again?

Also please bear with me and let me know how to add a picture (error msg screen) in one of my posts.

    I will try again,
    thanks,

    Hi jmpaq,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes make sure that you delete all the partition and then install windows to ensure that you don't have two copies of windows running on the system.
