    My Webcam Is not working


    I upgraded from Win7 Home Premium 32bit to Win7 Ultimate and now my webcam is just shows black screen...
    BTW im using ASUS laptop, so usually the green light on my laptop turns on, but now its not on..
    I'm not sure, but i think its the problem with drivers

    LukeIsBack, Welcome to SF. I would go the the ASUS website and check for all updated mobo and other drivers and install.

    Thanks for warm welcome I've been in ASUS website and updated all drivers i could find, but my camera is still not functional.. I actually went to device manager and here what is says:

    Do you have the manual for this lappy and if not download and read section about webcam as there could be a setting you need to apply. Also check in bios for this device to be enabled.

    Yeah i actually somehow fixed it, by downloading alot of drivers (Its all Chicony, and just 2 worked)..
    So, I'm guessing that my drivers were bad or something.. I don't know, but i'm really happy that i fixed it !
