    I'm also running into this issue after formatting my laptop. Here's the info requested:

    Intel (R) adapter are not installed in this computer


    Hi I am new here..I joined the forum because i cannot find any solution to my problem.

    I reformatted my MYVIEW Stylebook SB100 yesterday from windows 7 ultimate to windows 7 professional. I thought everything's good but when I tried to connect to the internet my laptop says "no connections available" when I checked on device manager I cannot find any network/wireless device. Although i noticed that there are several Other Devices: Ethernet Controller (with exclamation point) and Network Controller (with exclamation point). I don't know what that means but I think it's related to my network connectivity. When I try to update them, the dialog box states that drivers are not installed on my computer. But i haven't uninstalled any driver before..

    I searched on the internet and downloaded Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver and this removed the Ethernet Controller problem on Other Devices on Device Manager..now I have Network Adapter..But still I cannot connect to the internet..

    I followed your instruction on the thread and did a msinfo32 run...

    the result i got:

    LEXMARK X422 ... THIS DEVICE IS DISABLED.

    LEXMARK X422 ... THIS DEVICE CANNOT START.

    NETWORK CONTROLLER PCI/VEN_168C&DEV_002A&SUBSYS_08221113&REV_01/4&463B520&0&00E1
    THE DRIVERS FOR THIS DEVICE ARE NOT INSTALLED.

    What could be the problem? when i tried installing ProWin32 it says: intel r adapters are not installed..sumthing like that..

    i cannot access internet.. before it can easily detect wifi signals now no connections can be seen..please help me..what should i do?
