Why does my mouse cursor keep on freezing or changing simples

Hi i have just sorted the rest of my errors out on my PC and done a clean install on windows. Installed all windows updates and my new motherboard drivers but i have this really annoying thing that keeps on happening. One the mouse freezes after 5 minutes of boot after i have just loaded Firefox and then my system freezes or if that doesn't happen my mouse freezes for a couple of seconds and then it starts changing icons and freezes and disappear. The only thing i am doing while this happening is browsing Firefox and using remote desktop and using word press to post on my website. I have tried reinstalling the drivers for the mouse and looked for any yellow simple in device management but there is none what can it be is my mouse failing please help.

    Hi Baggy2014,

Have you checked a different mouse on the system to isolate the issue? Also, perform a clean boot on the system to check the same:

    Clean Boot

Also, check the system under safe mode and let us know if it occurs there as well:

    Safe Mode

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
