    driver for usb safety plug for solidworks 2007


    Hello

    i have solidworks 2007 that work with safety plug ( connect to usb).

    I just upgrate my OS to win 7 X 64 . the safety plug that not recםgnize by windows.

    how can i get a driver for that plug ??

    Hi zorkin, Welcome to the forums Have you updated the Sentinel drivers for the dongle ? You may have to contact the people who you got solidworks from , Do a google search for who supplied the dongle and see if they have updated drivers on their website :)

    The problem is that the company that sopply the software dosent support the old version (2007) .

    I can find in the net many app that offer to scan my computer and try to find the driver i need. but i dont realy trast all that exe files.

    i wonder if there is a win7 X64 driver for dongle.

    Hi zorkin, As I stated you have to contact your reseller they should be able to supply a new encoded dongle for you , I think from SW2010 onwards they did aways with the dongle and went for stand alone activation ,Is there any chance you could afford to upgrade to 1 of these later versions ? :)
