    Hi there!
    Thanks for the superfast reply.
I've already tried dscaler before but i quickly removed it since when it runs it screws up all the colors of other open windows. I reinstalled it now and i see the error message: 'Cant load hardware driver, possibly caused by corrupt installation. Reboot and try again'. I rebooted, but same error shows up.
It might be i didnt install the correct driver..
Btw, when installing ther driver, (from 'btinstaller') what exactly do you choose from the second dropdown menu?
I chose Video capture card: Leadtek winfast 2000, Tvtuner used on your card: Philips pal secam. And i left empty the 3 checkboxes. Might this have anything to do with the driver problem?
    Thank you in advance!

    Hmm..
For the dropdown, I think I left them as default.
Didn't change them and left them to autodetect.

Dammit, this doesn't seem to work for me. its like the card isn't in at all. I'm loosing hope.
Is there maybe a way you could send me your bt848.sys driver so i can try that? i reistalled the driver leaving box empty and still nothing. Btw, you are using Win7 64bit correct? And your color scheme changes whenever you run dscaler?
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers!

    Yup, I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
And yes the color scheme changes to Windows 7 Basic when I run DScaler.

Winfast TV2000 XP Expert drivers on w7 64b

I try a standard driver instalation using a CD from .

I renamed some files (as shown in archive), I updated drivers from a separate folder, just like TimStitt posted on 11-25-2009 and it works.

Hi All, I just got a chance to catch up.

Iron2000, as usual you are right on it, thanks mate!

Cezericia, Glad you got it working. My solution is more of a work around, it worked for me but is sort of a cross your fingers moment. It's a little bit cheeky and comes with the potential to be an epic fail. BUT when it works we can all grin happily and pass the beers around.

    TV 2000XP on Win7 Pro x86

    Hi guys,
I have also winfast tv2000xp (the most basic versions -no FM, probably this WDM), and recently I installed win7pro, and now I can't get it to work.
I installed official drivers from leadtek, both EXPERT and GLOBAL, but it doesn't work, it just says in DEVICE MANAGER "Multimedia Controller".
Only when I let windows update to download drivers it shows in DEVICE MANAGER "Winfast 2000XP WDM Audio/Video Capture", but it still doesnt work in PVR2.
I tried also DScaler, but also with no success.
I'm attaching a few screenshots for you to see it more clearly.

Can you please give me some advice on what to do?
Seems to me that for now the only good idea is to go back on using XP..
    Thanks

Hmm, your Dscaler hardware info is the same as mine.
So yours is probably the TV2000XP RM too.
Expert and Global drivers don't work with the RM version.

As of now there are no official 64 bit drivers for the RM version but you can try the unofficial driver I posted in my previous posts.

But if you are running a 32 bit copy of Windows 7, you can try the official Vista 32 bit drivers.
