So you pretty much used descaler and took Iron2000's advice? Was there anything additional in the ini file that may be useful to add to this thread?

If you have the Winfast TV2000XP Deluxe card, then just follow the instuctions in my other thread mentioned on the previous page.

The ini file must be exactly as I mentioned there...

No I don't have that card (re: the first page of this thread)..... I rewrote the inf's for my card and explained how to some time last year. I'm simply here to help and also double checking if you have any new information so I can add it and attribute it to the author. The three Winfast blogs that I am involved in on this forum are by far the busiest and constantly get re-hits. Iron2000 has done the brunt of the work and managed to solve all the questions that we've come across with the same chip as yours (and been super busy). Where-as I've looked after the other chips and sound issues (more or less anyway and with plenty of exceptions)... but I'm always after more information.

So from your other post here.... Leadtek WinFast TV 2000 XP (Deluxe), Windows 7 Pro 64 B
......and in case new readers find this. Here's your suggested ini details.

After many attempts and many softwares installed and uninstaled i managed to get image from tv tuner.
I have a Winfast TV 2000 XP RM on Windows 7.
Now there's another issue, there's no sound.

    Hello Violetblood,

Are you using the onboard sound card? if so it is likely that the realtek drivers are not loaded, please get them from your Mobo CD or here MSI Global. The default drivers installed by Microsoft work for almost everything else, but some users need the correct drivers from the manufacturer to get the sound working with their TV200XP.

    Let me know the results.

    Hi,

Not sure about your card, but I noticed in your screen shot that it doesn't show Line In...

It is possible that it is just disabled. Common thing...

-- Right click on the speaker icon next to the time
    -- Select Recording Devices
-- Right click on that screen and select Show Disabled Devices
-- If it is Disabled, Right click it and select Enable

Now, start the TV again and check in sound options, it should be there now...

Let us know if you come right with it.

    Hi Violet,

Could you please let me know the version of the sound driver that you are using?

Also, take a look at my post here about sound settings in the PVR2000, this card is very similar and the configuration is exactly the same. Leadtek Winfast PVR2000 rtm driver

What's important is to check that the devices that youa re going to use work and are enabled in Windows 7 first, tick that box and then configure them in the PVR second.
