    For Windows 7, first try to find drivers specifically for it. If they are not available, the Vista drivers might work. The XP drivers probably will not work.

    Windows 7 is built on the same kernel as Vista. This would indicate that alot of Vista drivers may work in Windows 7 - this has been my experience anyway.

    Use Vista drivers if 7 are not available yet. So far I have had one driver issue with my printer that Epson states their driver for Vista will work with 7 and it does not. The printer works but I might not have access to all it's functions at this time.

Hi, And thanks for reading my question. I ahve the following setup. 2x Win7 RC systems, hardwired. 2x WinXP-Pro systems, hardwired 1x WinXP-Pro Laptop, wireless 1x Vista Laptop, wireless. No home server installed.
Does Win7 have a Compatibility Mode like Vista did. Seem to be missing the whole XP "sound, video and game controllers" drivers in the Device Manager in Win7 Home Premium. Backed them up using Driver Genius but don't know how to install them? Thanks.
