    Win764bit Random hang and Recovers

Hello I have this warning in my event viewer multiple times.

Warning 1/17/2014 11:55:57 PM iaStorA 129 None Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.

I do have a raid 0 config. I read about this and could not find a solution; another person with this problem said it was also causing random hangs for him and would recover after 30-45 seconds like mine.

I am using an Asus Z87 Sabertooth Motherboard with the raid chip onboard.

Would appreciate the help if anyone knows anything.

It appears that RAID is not anything must for you. It is always better to not use RAID, if it is not a must.

Better you dont use RAID, as it has always been an issue with windows 7. But if you disable RAID in BIOS, windows will refuse to boot, as it can boot with the storage controller mode on which it was initially installed.

Do a clean install in that case. But dont install IRST back, as that is also a regular failure. Use the AHCI mode of storage controller, with the system native msahci.sys active, which never fails.

Also, make it sure that both the SSDs are running with the most up-to-date firmware.
