HP quicklaunch buttons driver question??

I have a HP Pavillion dv6700 32 bit running vista currently. I want to upgrade to windows 7, but the compatibility program said that the quick launch buttons wouldnt work properly. I searched around and looked on HP's website to see if there were drivers for the upgrade but I havent found anything.

Would anybody know
1) if my quicklaunch buttons would indeed not work if I installed Windows 7
2) What I need to do to get them to work?
3) Do I need to do it after or before I install Windows 7?

PS I am no computer genius so layman's terms would be appreciated.

Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) SP1

I have a HP laptop and when I installed 7 everything worked fine except in device manager I had an unknown device. I worked out that it was the Quicklaunch buttons. I downloaded the latest version and problem solved.

ps...I got the latest drivers from the HP site

Win 7 64, OSX Snow Leopard

I have an HP Laptop too, got all my QuickLaunch /SD card reader drivers from windows update.

Quick Launch buttons will work, just use windows update to find your drivers.

Its a good thing to remove the vista drivers for Quick Launch buttons before upgrading, after the upgrade finish, windows update will give you the drivers.

What Would Cause Quicklaunch To Disappear?
Just booted over to my Win 7 after a couple of days absence and discovered my extra taskbar toolbars had vanished - Quicklaunch and the Address Bar. The latter was immediately replaceable as it appears on the list of available toolbars but I had to recreate Quicklaunch. What would cause that I...
