    Toshiba Drivers

I updated my Toshiba Satellite M45-S3553 laptop from XP to Win-7. I used OEM System Builder Pack, and though Win-7 operates OK, but WiFi, LAN and the sound does not operate. The Device Manager reports that the drivers are not installed for the following devices:
    Mass Storage Controller
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    Network Controller
    Video Controller

In an attempt to reinstall the drivers using the Toshiba Recovery CD, it reports it cannot because the operating system (Win-7?) is not supported.

Have downloaded several drivers from Toshiba Product Support, but they either will not install, or will not operate.
Would appreciate any help the resident guru's could provide!

Thanks, Maxie.....but I struck out. The install "encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device"

The installer seems to operate, but it times out and then reports the above problem.

Same results. I downloaded "DriverDetective" but it doesn't work either. The InstallShield Wisard reports: This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

Do not use any of them Driver packages .. They cause more problems than they fix .. I think your main problem is what you Installed the 64 Bit os .. Its going to be very difficult finding Drivers .. Still looking though ...
