Formatted Win 8 Laptop & Installed Win 7. Need Drivers.

I now need Win 7 drivers for my Toshiba laptop that had Win 8. Any good utilities out there that will download and install the necessary drivers compatible with Win 7?

Some system specs would be nice Rus and depends on what you mean by drivers

System Info - See Your System Specs

BY the way what model Toshiba have you got and how did you install 7 - an OEM or retail??

OEM. What I'm looking for, if it is even available, is a site (software) that will determine what drivers I need for the particular OS and laptop manufacturer I have. Regardless if the person's OS or computer the software utility would have to have the ability to go in, analyze the data and download and install the necessary drivers.

There may not be such a utility but that is my question.

Well Rus I am under the impression that Windows downloads the drivers it needs. Any drivers you need for the machine or add on devices I use the manufacturer as those other driver softwares can be a tad dubious to use and often one can if not careful download rubbish you don't want.

In my experience any softwares that claims to clean up, speed up, or improve the machine in any way are crap. There are exceptions like CCleaner of course but the ultimate choice is yours.

Just a Google away but if you want my opinion I would stick to the makers drivers.

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it. I was just hoping there was a reputable utility that would do much of the work for me. I'm sooooo lazy.

Thats ok Rus just didn't want you downloading some crap sites that would throw spanners of sorts into the works and also load stuff you don't need or can get rid of easily, and some of that rubbish is so easy to miss when downloading and installing whatever it is you have found.

Been there done that mate and the extra effort is worth it in the end.

Hi Rus .. If you fill in your System Specs and tell us what is the Make and Model Number of your Computer .. As requested by Icit2lol .. And then go to the Device Manager and tell us what Devices are missing .. We will help you find the Drivers ...

I owe everyone an apology. My post was a theoretical scenario. I want to buy a new Toshiba laptop but they all come with Win 8 and I want to format and install Win 7 but I know I will need Win 7 drivers. I was hoping there would be an honest, trustful software package that would provide the necessary drivers. You see, I'm sooooo lazy!!
