New HDD- can not get drivers. Corrupted recovery disk.

Asus K52F laptop with bad hdd and battery. Replaced both-
Tried to use recovery disk- and get message that it is corrupted.
Downloaded W7 home premium 32 bit and burn to dvd. Installed- no drivers- can not connect to net.
Downloaded drivers set from net and put on cd- Driver Turner, and another one- will not work.
Installed W7 from iso and tried "repair'...still no go.

I can get W7 running from the iso install- but can not get drivers to load?

    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks-

Edit: Original OS from factory was W7 Home Premium. I think it was 32 bit- because i see 32 bit drivers trying to install when I run the recovery disk???
On the back of computer It says w7 home premium OA
There is also a sticker with a barcode on that has this number WIMAX:64D4DA134551....that may indicate 64 bit?
I tried 64 bit w7 first- same problems.

I can put Ubuntu dvd in and boot up and run without issues-

Are you getting the drivers from the ASUS website?
