    Are ram divers universal?

    Hi!

I was just wondering, because I want to upgrade the 6GB ram in my laptop, Would I be able to basically "steal" ram from my old acer laptop, would I be able to put it into my samsung laptop?

Even if the RAM in your old Acer is compatible, you only have 2 slots in a laptop. You will have to remove a 2gb stick to make room for another, which would have to be a 4gb stick to do any good.

I am not sure how much ram is in my acer, I suspect its 4gb so it would just make 10gb,

Ok, so getting a bit off topic would it be able to actually upgrade my graphics driver from Intel to Nvidia?

If your Acer has 4gb, that would (most likely) be 2 sticks of 2gb ea. Since you would have to remove one 2gb stick from your Samsung to make room, there is no net gain.
