Missing network adapter after windows 7 installation

Hi, I reinstalled Windows 7 home premium 64bit on my Asus U36J laptop. Installation is done, but I can't find any wireless connection. When I troubleshoot, the computer says "install a driver for your network adapter" . I've tried to find it on internet but not to any avail. I downloaded a few diff drivers off ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download U36JC but it I don't really know if I am doing the right thing. Please help me :) Before I reinstalled windows 7, my computer can connect to the wifi (internet). Right not, my sister's computer can also connect (which is what I'm using now). Thank you in advance!!

Hi please go to device manager in control panel then to the device, it should have either a red X or yellow ! on the left of it there will be a small arrow/triangle, click on it to expand the view then right click on the device and choose properties on the new window click on the details tab and see which device it tells you is there or click on the drop down list where it says driver details and change it to hardware id and post the pci ven and dev

Hi, most of them are cleared now. Left 2 more. I downloaded the slim drivers and it helped fixed most of the problems too.
