    Primera Z6 drivers


    My friend has a Primera Z6 printer for printing CD's. Until recently he was using Windows XP but due to support being withdrawn he has been forced to upgrade to Windows 7. Now the printer won't work. He contacted Primera who said that they don't have a Windows 7 driver and advised him to switch back to Windows XP! Personaly given the cost of these printers I find the attitude of Primera disgusting. Having said that is there any way he can get the printer to work under Windows 7?

    Try this to install the XP driver. Driver Install - Device Manager

    Yeah but the point here is that Primera have not developed any driver for the Z6 to run on Windows 7. So are you saying that it is possible to use an XP driver in Windows 7?

    Yes some XP drivers do work on Win7.
