HP Quick Launch Buttons and Windows 7

The HP buttons on laptops above the keyboard, for me play, ffw, rewind, volume, and mute; do not work with Windows 7.

I went to HP and downloaded the Vista 32 bit drivers hoping they would work on win7 but they dont, at least not by simply installing them.

    Im running Win7 32bit.

Im not talking about the Quick Play buttons, I dont care about those.

    Any ideas???

Is there a software application that needs to be loaded in order for those buttons to work (not just a set of drivers)?

You should update your system specs. The link is in my signature. Without knowing your hardware, all we can do is guess at a possible fix.

Im at work right now and dont have my laptop, but I will when I get home.

"You should set the compattibility to "Windows Vista" to get QP work perfectly."

Is there a way to install a driver by setting something to Vista Compatability???

I found that here: HP QuickPlay buttons

Don't you think it would be easier to take QLB for Windows 7 ?
HP has compatible drivers for several months!
