    Hello everyone

I am having similar problem. I downgraded asus notebook x102ba to windows 7 64bit and i'm having problems installing
the Ethernet drivers. I downloaded the win8 64bit and installed them but there is a yellow sign next to the network adapter:

    Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

Device Status: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (Code 39)

    Can you please help me?

    Many thanks

You can use Snappy Driver Installer to find and install the required driver. Don't forget to download driverpacks beforehand so that it could be used offline.

OK I managed to get the Network Adapter drivers from the RealTek Website, here is the link if anyone has the same problem.

    Realtek

I still have 2 drivers missing though:
    1. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
    2. Network Controller.

I will try this snappy driver.

You must enable automatic updates over the Internet. Snappy Driver Installer should have asked that when you run it for the first time. Make sure settings.cfg contains "-checkupdates".
You should click on "Updates are available" at the top of the application window.

BadPointer, you are a star and your Snappy Driver is a great program.
-checkupdates was not in settings.cfg so I added it and after that everything worked great.

It found all my missing drivers, downloaded them and installed them. It also looked for updated versions of my current drivers.

    Thank you
    very much
