    Code 52 error- Windows cannot verify digital signature for USB drivers

    Help! Cannot use USB keyboard or mouse due to Code 52 error
    'Windows cannot verify digital signature for USB drivers'
    Have updated drivers
    Have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers from Intel
    Have reinstalled drivers from MSI motherboard driver DVD
    Have tried manually disabling "digital driver enforcement" during boot
    Have also tried to bypass unsigned driver with DSOE Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b
    All with no luck
    A little help here?

    Did you install Acronis True Image at one time? Is it currently uninstalled?

    Right click each USB Controllers ->Properties->Details tab. Use the pull down menu to look for Class Upper Filters and Class Lower Filters. Look closely one, both or neither may exist. For each that exist, select then copy/paste what windows displays.

    Which version of Acronis are you running? I don't know if it's related to your problem, but you shouldn't have those two "Acronis devices appear as "Other". (That means those 2 Acronis devices are missing their driver). I suggest you uninstall/reinstall Acronis..

    If that doesn't help your problem.. For each USB controller
    1. Right click->Properties->Driver tab.
    2. Does it show the driver digitally signed?
    3. Now click the Driver Details button. You'll see a list of driver files. Select each driver file. Does each one show it's digitally signed?

    I'm running Win x32 so don't worry if driver version #'s are different. But
    a) For your Enhanced controllers: Are all driver files from Microsoft?
    b) For your USB 3 controller, are all driver files from Intel??

    Some quick comments before i'm off to bed for the night

    Try THIS MS KB tho at best that KB applies to USB 2.0. I'm really puzzled how both your USB 2 and 3 are now unsigned

    That said, those last 2 screen strongly indicate (to me) that you have or had a malware infection. Malware might be the source of the driver corruption.

    I'm relatively new here so not sure if seven forums has a malware removal help thread (you can go look). I do know that bleepingcomputer and TechSpot have them if need be. You can try running the following on your own (plus your own a/v) but if they don't help i think you should be checked out to see that malware has been removed
    > Malwarebytes
    > SuperAntispyware
    > AdwCleaner

    p.s. just to explain... those rather random sounding .dll names are often signs of a malware that "recreates" itself. The dll's may have been removed but references to them still exist so you get those errors.

    The virus may create 2 or 3 instances of itself (generating these random names). Unless you (or your a/v) can kill all instances at the same time, any remaining instances just generate new instances with new random names!

    /* EDIT */
    One more thought. You had Acronis installed. When was the last time you imaged your disk? Restoring a disk image might be the quickest solution???
