    Sony SVF1521G6E will not install Sony Drivers


    So I have an interesting situation. I have a customer with a Sony from Europe. He had a non-legit Win 7 install and was missing half his drivers. I installed a legit copy of Windows, and attempted to update his drivers(from the Euro site because you can't get them here) but about half of them will not do anything but hang after execution. SFC came up clean, CHKDSK came up clean as well. I've tried compatibility, unzipping and installing manually through Windows, and nothing seems to be working. Anybody run into this before? It's all I have to do to be done with this unit!

    Hi Do you get any error messages when trying to Install these Drivers .. Where you able to run Windows Updates ? Which Drivers are missing ..

    I get no errors or even any evidence that the programs execute at all. I cant run windows update because I can't get the ethernet or WLAN drivers to install. I'm missing those two, the BCM43142A0, PCI device and an unknown driver.

    OK weird development....the ethernet card suddenly showed up as installed.....update time
