    Need ATI Unified AVStream Driver

Installed Win 7 Professional Upgrade on clean HD and am Dual booting with Vista. Device Mgr shows yellow flag under "Others devices" Multimedia Controller. Unknown device Identfier program, says its Vendor ATI, Device 4D50 Unified AVStream Driver. Installed ATI 9-10 Win 7 32-64 unified WDM ver 8.661.0.0, no change. Also installed it in Vista SP1 compatibilty mode, still have yellow flag.

Does anyone know what the Unified AVStream Driver is for? Read a post somewhere that is was a Sound and Video Game controller?

Searched ATI's site and unable to identify anything that refers to a Unified AVStream Driver.

Don, your PCI tuner card is unrecognisable to Windows 7!
The yellow exclamation in device manager is needing the driver for it.
Follow this link to see specs:
ATI TV Wonder™ HD 650 Series
From what I read ATI is only recognising Vista.
Try to reinstall using windows compatability mode for Vista.
Your system specs are lacking so we cannot be more helpful at this time.

The vista drivers will work here. Download then click install, the files will extract to "C:\ATI\Support\9-10_vista32-64_unified_wdm". Go to device manager and point to that folder and install drivers. Worked like a champ. I have the same card as you and i'm using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

    Good luck

Get the drivers here ATI Theater Drivers

Resolved -Need ATI Unfied AVStream Driver

Tried installling in compatibility mode for Vista, no luck. Uninstalled ATI software and removed TV tuner card. Tired of Screwing around with it. Unistalling ATI software was a real trip.

Don, I'm confused by your last post. Did you read my reply? Did you try it?

Also the ATI Stream Driver is for the TV Tuner that you have/had installed. That's why I told you to use the drivers I pointed to.
