Not really bothered with the 59hz bug as it worked fine on 59hz at 1680x1050 ...All i want is for that resolution to be obtained again ..Old problems months ago is that when ever new updates came out it would actually end up saying no digital signal ..But back to my original and only problems i just want to set my lcd monitor 1680x1050 (native) its a massive problem and there must be answers to it surely ..

Try to locate the driver for the monitor with Windows Update or here. Install.

this i assume is the digital (DVI) ...

    manually install Viewsonic drivers ...

What i notice is that in DVI mode the native is unknown..(maybe where the problem lies)..

(Attempted this with just the drivers that came with Win 7)
Also when i try to install via windows update it fails ...it does have options to update Nvidia and Viewsonic but fails when i try
Also really appreciate the help on this matter its been awesome..

Can you manually install the newest viewsonic drivers? Can you try a different input?

i can manually install Viewsonic drivers which ive done ...Now for input i only have the one card with Vga and Dvi both connected to monitor ...

Vga/analog sees the native resolution without problems ..Its the DVI/digital that wont go past 1280x720 .. im wanting to obtain my native res 1680x1050 on DVI
