    New PC and Win 7 OS not connecting to internet says lacking driver


    Hello I got a new pc and I have windows 7 64 bit OS on it, when I plug my internet cable into it it doesn't connect to the internet. Troubleshooter says it needs a driver for the network adapter but I've looked about and this is not such an obvious thing to find, what software do I need to download for this? This is my CPU (Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-4690 (3.5GHz) 6MB Cache) and motherboard (Gigabyte Z97-HD3: ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs).

    Edit: I have tried downloading the 64 bit driver from here:- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...?DwnldID=18713
    however it says that it's not compatible.
