My HP Pavillion dv6's headphone port is damaged so had to buy a new bluetooth headphone but then I realized that I had no bluetooth on my HP Pavillion dv6 Windows 7 64 bit? The instructions on HP website is confusing. So please does anyone know how to get bluetooth driver on HP Pavillion dv6 and where to install it?

I have a dv6 also and it is confusing. I have a combo half card (Wifi and BT), so I have to load the WLNA driver to get the BT.

It looks as though your machine has a full card for each

I'm fairly certain that the BT driver is correct (only BT driver available on HP site for your machine).

Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth Software and Driver

I'm not certain about the WLAN driver - there are a few to choose from. Don't do anything with the WLAN driver - it's there for reference only.

    Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver

Please follow this tutorial to provide the current operating environment of your machine.

Hi there .. Looking at the HP Website i see two Downloads for Bluetooth Devices ... Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver and Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth Software and Driver ... As for the Lan Driver i think it would be this one Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver ...

    Thanks Maxie,

I thought I saw two BT drivers, but when I went back to check, I only saw one.... cheap $tore glasses.

HP usually pairs the radios, (BCM & BCM or Ralink & Ralink) - but.....

We'll have to wait for pasuMonkeyKing to provide the exact hardware.

    Device manager Network adapters
    Device manager anything BT
