    can't find a driver and I don't know what I'm doing

I'm never going to try anything again. just gonna save for a laptop that will have win7 sp1

I downloaded the win7 ultimate ISO to test for the 30days. when I burned it to a dvd and booted from it, it would not even get past a statement about a cd/dvd driver missing ( maybe cause I chose the 64bit and my laptop is a year old ) still could not find a driver so I give up.

Id advise to download the compatability checker
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...e-advisor.aspx

If its ok, burn at a slower speed and try again.

Well, my laptop is 3 years old, it came with XP and with a Vista Capable logo.
OK, I changed CPU, RAM and HDD, but it runs perfectly and very fast on Win 7 x64 (no gaming).
