geForce FX Go 5200 / aero ??

    geForce FX Go 5200 / aero ??


    There's got to be a way to get aero to work with this card?? any tricks to get the driver's to work aero?? someone has had to get it going with one of these old pieces of technology any help would be great!!

    that graphics card is too underpowered to run Aero. Just be glad Windows won't let you enable Aero and move on

    I am almost sure 5200 runs Aero. Let me see what I can pull up or suggest.

    ForceWare Release 95

    That is a Vista driver for 5200 desktop. That's not what you want because it will not install without editing the .inf. It can easily be done though if needed.

    I suggest using this and trying your luck first. If done right, will use latest NVidia driver.

    Seems there are two models of op's adapter. One with 32 and one with 64 mb. 32 will never have Aero. 64 can.

    I used to have a 5200 and I have a hard time believing it will have any acceptable performance with Aero. But hey at least it may be possible to test. That's more than I expected.
