    USB3.0 Renesas Drivers for install

I do hope this is the right place to put this?

I built an install for Win7 Ultimate so that I could have all my drivers and latest updates on it and I wanted to have the USB3.0 drivers loaded at start up BUT, the latest package, 2.1.39 only comes in an .EXE and I couldn't extract anything from it, I used 7zip and Universal Extractor but NO USE. To say it annoyed me was an understatement but I found a fix.

I found the previous driver 2.1.36 from another source and was able to extract the drivers from that .EXE. There is 32bit and 64bit sections in it as well.
Maybe other people have found a better way of doing this but it is the only thing I could figure out. If anyone else has a better idea, great. :)

Here are a couple of links I hope will help anyone who has had this trouble themselves. You need the UEI to extract the files from the USB exe.
    2.1.36 Driver: Driver exe
    Universal Extractor: UEI

You can use Snappy Driver Installer. It comes with driverpacks which can be easily unpacked.

If you want to create a driver backup, you can use the "Extract to..." button to extract drivers from driverpacks without installing them. If your drivers are already up to date, you might have to tick the "Current" checkbox.

You're right, it don't say renesas. I also didn't say it was the machine that is listed in my specs.
If I had had more room, I would have added the other 4 computers I have.
I am sorry that I wasn't succinct. next time I will add ALL the specs of what I am working on.
