Hi Rmahlmeister,
What does Device Manager say about your cdrom drives?

Hello Rmahlmeister,
Welcome to the Seven Forums.
In addition to SIW2's suggestion. In Windows Explorer, The Organize Menu/Folder and Search Options. On the General tab, make sure 'Show all Folders' is checked and on the View tab make sure 'Hide empty drives in the Computer folder' is unchecked.

I had to restore my computer because the new video driver for my card wasnt displaying. I did have both cd roms showing up once I went through Regedit but cannot remember how to get where i need to be to delete some files so the cd roms show up
Hi,
Did you mean this fix? Removing Upper and Lower Filters (not just for XP)
You can no longer access the CD drive or the DVD drive, or you receive an error message after you remove a CD recording program or a DVD recording program in Windows XP: "error code 31"
Hope it helps
