    Touchpad Mouse driver not working

I recently gave vista the boot installed windows 7 on my Toshiba satellite A200-FT3 laptop. Everything went great however the touchpad doesn't seem to be functioning.

I've already installed the latest synaptic driver. The device manager even says that the device is 'working properly' however i can't get the pointer to move using the touchpad.

    The 'Fn' functions work:
    Fn+F7 to brighten
    Fn+F6 to darken.

    EXCEPT the touchpad: Fn+F9.

Does anybody have any ideas? =[

That is honestly something I have not experienced.
Did it work before you up installed the touch pad driver?
Have you checked all the setting making sure something funky didn't get clicked, by the ghost of vistas past?

Have you ran windows updates, after installing the drivers?
Have you tried uninstalling the driver then running win updates?

Are you getting tired of my questions?
    If yes, Im done
If no, I can make some more up for you :P
