    No intell r adapter installed


    Hi
    I recently installed windows vista on my computer and I can't connect on the intrernet I'm trying to install network drives but it's giving me this message no Intel r adapter installed.
    What can I do?

    Click on Start and then Control Panel.
    Click on the System and Maintenance link.

    Note: If you're viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Simply double-click on the Device Manager icon ...

    In the System and Maintenance window, click on the Device Manager link near the bottom of the window...

    i cant see the network adapter only under other devices I can see ethernet controller, unknown device and usb 2.0 image capture controller ethernet controller appears 2 times

    Select the ethernet controller, unknown device .. Right click on it select Property's / Details Tab / ...

    In the Volume section there should be a Hardware ID ..

    Might start with some thing PCIVEN ... Please Post the info ..
