    The Link below might fix your first issue ..

    Your CD or DVD drive is not recognized by Windows or other programs


    As for the second one ... We can work on that later once you get your other Problems sorted ...

    I rebooted it, and it fixed that issue. Now, the 2nd issue. I went on Microsoft, and went by a user's recommendation on what to do. But, I didn't get my adapter back, after working on the issue.
