    Constant USB control driver message in action center /screenshots


    I can't figure out why i keep getting this message as my driver is already installed. I have tried reinstalling and get the same message , it does look like it's an old driver (2006) but it's the latest on the Asus website.

    Thanks for any assistance

    Looks like there is a later Version of the Driver ..

    Thanks maxie but i downloaded the latest driver and installed it and still constantly get that message.

    You Installed the USB 3 Driver ? ... Or the Chipset Driver ?

    Ah good question , whichever driver is the one listed above ACHI one apparently . Looking into it, you may have discovered my issue.

    Install the USB 3 Driver .. See if that resolves the issue ...

    Yeah, i installed this from the Asus website but still got the message after a reboot , somethings very odd.

    Have you run Windows Updates ?

    Yes, all windows updates are done and up to date but i have good news . I uninstalled the driver and reboot , i then reinstalled the driver again and reboot , seems no message now .

    I hope this took care of it and thank you so much for your continued help maxie .

    Most welcome .. Was looking at the Driver Version in your First Post ..

    Could not find any Reference to that Version on the Asus Website ..
