Realtek PCIe drivers not found - Windows 7 (downgraded from 8)

It has been a long time since posted on these forums. I don't know what has changed, but i am back.
I am very rusted on repairing and troubleshooting computers. I guess my experiences have worn out.

Anyways, my mother has a computer she bought from Walmart and was preinstalled with Windows 8. I've managed to downgrade to Windows 7. Now the problem is, i can't seem to get or find the correct network adapter driver. I want to install the driver so i can use Windows 7 software to locate other drivers automatically.

My mother's computer is HP 110-023wb

Any help would be very appreciated! I thought i can do this as i did in the past, but this is now a problem i lost experience with.

A 3rd party software says it is a Realtek Semiconductor RTL8101 PCIe Fast Ethernet Adapter.

So i assume that is the driver name. I tried searching but no prevail.

I installed Windows 7 and no drivers were installed. Can't install because of no "internet connection". Yes, the ethernet is plugged in and my service is available as i am currently typing from my Macbook Pro as we speak. And playing Destiny. Multitasking here. Anyways, help is appreciated.

HP has no 7 drivers for that model. That's a potential problem with downgrading the OS. Software & driver downloads HP 110-023w Desktop PC | HP® Support Although you should get drivers from HP you can try drivers from realtek. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false If that doesn't work the only thing that you can do is to get a new wireless device.

Not exactly. There is the realtek driver and you can get an another card if that doesn't work. Glad to see another mac user on here.

    Open the Device Manager
Right Click on the Device in question
    Properties
    Details Tab

In Win7 the VEN_ #### and DEV_#### is located under Hardware ID

I downloaded the file...but what do i do with it? There isn't a setup file. Just dll, sys, cat, inf, and DLL files. Along with a txt file. Same in both 32 and 64 bit folders. =/
