Acer Laptop Downgrade, Cannot get any LAN/WIFI Drivers

    The realtek drivers would also not go on. I have no idea where I am going to get Windows 8.1 to restore it

    Sure you can - make a new Windows 8.1 ISO or USB image and use that.

    I dont have Windows 8.1 disk though? it was all preinstalled

    Do I need to set the BIOS back to what it was?

    The BIOS should be fine did you Update it change Bios Version ?

    I had to change it to "Legacy" mode, from UEFI so that it would read my Windows 7 USB. I assume, I change it back to UEFI and then it will see this new 8.1 disk I have made?

    Ummm, this will be able to boot straight from USB wont it? the instructions mention clicking an exe file, I wont be able too as I want to boot from it
