    ok, that cleared a lot of unknown devices..all I have left in device manager is PCI Device, network controller, and ethernet controller

    Now we are getting some where ... Try selecting each Device right click Property's / Details Tab again any Info ?

    Okay try the Acer Website again just for the Lan Driver it should work with Windows 7 ..

    ok when I install the lan driver, error mesage pops up saying "FindFile failed"
