Ok, I was able to get PCI bridge loaded.

Now I just need the ATA Channel 0 (IDE Channel) driver.

Have you tried doing the same to this device?

Just point to the folder and the device will search and pick up it's drivers.

If it doesn't, rick-click the device > Properties. Go to Details tab. From drop down menu, select Hardware ID.

    Screenshot that for us.

Ok, I've attached an image for you to see the hardware ID. Still no luck finding the proper driver.

Because I see that it's Intel and figured that there's an Intel driver instead of a default MS one I'm supposed to use.

No the correct driver is the Intel one (in your case). MS has generic drivers for most devices but not all, best to use the manufacturer's.

Oh i misread your post, sorry. You don't have a problem that i can see right now.
If you download the driver from Intel previous and installed it, it will run through your devices and update what is required. Leave it as is. If there is a matching driver already 9/10 times you won't be able to update it.

Btw, MS uses Intel devices as well and i'm sure MS drivers are ok to use.

Ok, thanks for your help, much appreciation. I'm finally migrating things over to Windows 7 and I'll admit, I am pretty happy. I never thought I would switch out of XP pro ever because of how bad Vista was.

With Windows 7, it makes older computers run much, much faster and better.
